FAQs
Before you depart
When you decided to book a tour with us, once we confirm your booking, we will email you comprehensive information with all the details and payment instructions.
Our group sizes are up to 16 travelers on a tour, but the average is 10. Keeping the group in small numbers gives you the advantage to have more freedom and getting more involved with the other travelers or the surroundings. Small group size means that your trip will not be crowded.
To travel with us as an independent you must be at least 18 years old, and there is no upper age limits. On Family Adventures your child must be from 6 to 17 years old. For the non family adventures children must be at least 12 years old.
Do you want to travel with your own group and to experience one of the best trips of your life? At albexpeditions we make this happen. Tell us and we will arrange all the things for you.
We always recommend you pack as light as possible. However, the specific requirements for your tour are in our suggested packing list ‘Trip Notes’ that can be downloaded from each individual trip summary page. The checklist is tour specific and it is based on the experience of the ground staff.

However you will be responsible for your own arrangements from the moment you decide to leave the tour, but our staff will help you with the arrangements if requested. You would also be responsible for all the costs associated with joining a tour late or leaving one early. If you feel this may be necessary please consult an Albexpeditions Specialist before you book your adventure.
Hiking/Trekking Tours: We highly recommend bringing a backpack or duffel bag, as suitcases are very difficult and not suitable for transfers to the hiking areas. It is expected that you will normally have to carry your own luggage up and down hotel staircases.
